We are establishing SRUC’s new Rural Exchange as a key knowledge-sharing platform for information, ideas, commentary and best practice examples. This web-based platform will provide access to summary data (following data sharing protocols) and relevant outputs (e.g. maps, reports etc), and will include a social media presence to inform a wide range of stakeholders (including businesses in rural/island communities, community groups, researchers, policy-makers, national and regional stakeholders, etc.).
This rural exchange will help deliver to the open science agenda from outputs derived from this project and provide a new way of gathering ideas, information, commentary etc. from rural and island businesses – giving them a voice through short engaging surveys and polls and other feedback features
